Our hero Grigor Hunanyan was born in 1986 in Yerevan. From a very young age, Grigor was always dreaming to become a soldier, and eventually, he achieved his dream. Grigor was known for his bravery, kindness, and hard work, excelling in history, chess, and Russian language studies. At the age of 15, our hero lost his father, and continued living only with his mother and brother, and got the responsibility of taking care of both of them. 

After completing school, he started compulsory military service at V. Sargsyan’s military university. He also got married and had two lovely children. Grigor had many friends and was absolutely loved by his family and his colleagues.

When the 44- day war started, the relatives of Grigor urged him not to go to Artsakh and stay with his family, however, he replied, “How can I leave our 18-year-old heroes alone? I am the professional soldier that needs to protect them.” After 10 days of harsh battles, on October 19, Grigor fell heroically in Hadrut, sacrificing his young life for the homeland.

The sacrifice and dedication of Grigor to Armenia and Artsakh will never be forgotten. The nation having Grigors cannot ever surrender.

Մեր հերոս Գրիգոր Հունանյանը ծնվել էր 1986թ քաղաք Երևանում։ Դեռ շատ մանկուց մանկապարտեզի տարիքից միշտ ցանկանում էր ֆիդայի դառնալու և ցավոք դարձավ։ Շատ հետաքրքրասեր, բարի ու աշխատասեր պատանի էր՝ հետաքրքրված պատմություն, շախմատ և ռուսաց լեզու առարկաներով։ 15 տարեկան էր մեր հերոսը, երբ մահացավ հայրը և մնացին մայրն ու փոքր եղբայրը։ Հենց այդ տարիքից էլ Գրիգորը անցնում է աշխատանքի՝ ամեն ինչով օգնելով ընտանիքին։

Դպրոցն ավարտելուց հետո անցնում է ժամկետային ծառայության Արարատի Վ.Սարգսյանի անվան զորամասում ՝ որպես դիպուկահար։ Նաև հասցրեց ընտանիք կազմել և ունենալ երկու հրաշալի երեխաներ։ Շատ ընկերասեր էր, հարգված և սիրված՝ թե ընտանիքի և շրջապատի կողմից։

Պայմանագրային զինծառայության անցելուն պես, սկսվեց 44-օրյա պատերազմը։ Երբ տանեցիները խնդրում էին չմեկնել Արցախ մեր հերոսը պատասխանում է.<<ես ոնց մենակ թողնեմ մեր 18տարեկան հզոր ու քաջ տղերքին >> 10 օր կյանքի ու մահվան կռիվ տալով Ջրականում հոկտեմբերի 19-ին Գրիգորը զոհվեց Ջրականում աթսի հարվածից՝ տալով իր անգին կյանքը հայրենիքին։
