Նարեկ Սարգսյանը ծնվել է 2001 թ․ հուլիսի 9-ին Արագածոտնի մարզի Արագածավան գյուղում։ Աշխույժ, հետաքրքրասեր, ճարպիկ ու շատ ընդունակ տղա էր մեր հերոս Նարեկը։ Նաև սիրում էր երգը, երաժշտությունը, նվագում՝ դուդուկ, շվի՝ հաջողությամբ մասնակցելով մրցույթների։ Նաև հաճույքով զբաղվում էր ֆուտբոլով ու շախմատը։
Նարեկը շատ էր սիրում «Կյանք ու կռիվ» ֆիլմը, գրքերից էլ Տա Թևերի «731 օր առանց քեզ»-ը որից մեկ միտք հանգիստ չեր տալիս նրան՝ «Չի կարելի լացով ջրել այն հողը, որի համար տղերքը արյուն են թափել»։

Հայրենիքը նրա համար կարևորագույն արժեք էր։ Մեր հերոսը նախընտրում է թողնել իր անհոգ կյանքը Ռուսաստանում, և չափահաս դառնալուն պես վերառանում Հայաստան ու երկայանում զինկոմիսարիատ՝ ասելով․ «Վերադարձել եմ, որ ծառայեմ հանուն հայրենիքի»։

2020 թ․ օգոստոսի 24-ին Նարեկը զորակոչվում է բանակ՝ ծառայում է մեկ ամիս Մատաղիսում, 18 օր Մարտակերտում և սկսում է չարաբաստիկ պատերազմը։ Պատերազմը սկսվելու հենց առաջին օրը՝ սեպտեմբերի 27-ին, Նարեկն ու իր 28 զինակից ընկերները միանգամից զոհվում են ԱԹՍ-ի հարվածից՝ կյանքը նվիրելով հայրենիքին։

Our hero Narek Sargsyan was born on July 9, 2001, in the village of Aragatsavan, Aragatsotn Province. He was hardworking, ambitious, talented, and very sociable. Narek loved music, singing, dancing, and actively participated in competitions, accomplishing big success. He was also passionate about football and chess.

Narek was obsessed with the movie “Life and Fight”(Կյանք ու կռիվ) and the book “731 Days Without You” by Ta Tever, which always impressed him, particularly these lines: “One shouldn’t water the tree with tears which roots are covered by the bleed of heroes”

The motherland was the most important value for Narek. Our hero preferred to leave his comfortable life in Russia and return to Armenia, and despite all opportunities to skip going to the army, he chose to defend the homeland and complete his military duty in Artsakh.

On August 24, 2020, Narek joined the Armenian army, serving one month in Mataghis, and 18 days in Martakert, right after which the war started. On the very first day of the war, on September 27, Narek and his 28 fellow soldiers fell heroically in the battle of Artsakh, dedicating their lives to the homeland.

The sacrifice and dedication of Narek to Armenia and Artsakh will never be forgotten. The nation having Nareks cannot ever surrender.
