Friends of the Armenian Soldier and Family (FASF) was founded by Adam Kablanian in February 2021 in response to the distressing humanitarian crisis affecting the soldiers and their families from the Nagorno-Karabakh war. FASF aims to create a continuous culture of giving for Armenian-Americans to support the needs of our veterans and their families back in Armenia.

The Board of FASF is two veterans of the Armenian tech community: Adam Kablanian, and Patrick Sarkissian. All two board members have had a tremendous impact on Armenia’s economy in two key ways: (1) through entrepreneurial endeavors across various business opportunities spanning over 25 years, and (2) philanthropically through both contributions and organizationally. FASF has been founded in May of 2021. We promise a full transparency in our financials and will be publishing all the applicable documents on our website once the financial and tax year is complete.
Everyone is welcome to donate to the Armenian soldiers and thier families via FASF.
“Circle of Firneds” is a custom built feature on FASF website that allowes donors invite their friends to join their circle and make a donation. It is very easy to implement and consist of 4 simple steps:
1- Log in to FASF account,
2- Click on the “Copy the Link to the Clipboard” button, in order to share the invitation via various online media platforms,
3- Click on “Circle of Friends” button and fill in the emails of your friends that you want to invite to your Circle of Friends,
4- Visit your FASF account any time to edit, add, track the status of the “Circle of Friends” Invitation.
Note: Donors will be notified once their friends accept the invitation or complete the donation.
We are partnering with ZINAPAH (previously known as 1000plus)
ZINAPAH was created for the purpose of insuring and providing compensations to soldiers and families of soldiers who have been injured or deceased when defending the borders our motherland. We’re proud to lend our support to ZINAPAH and to other organizations that are supporting our fallen or disabled Armenian soldiers and their families.
FASF promises regular project updates, annual reports and financial summaries
Over $300 mln USD of financial support will be needed to the casualties of the 2016 and the 2020 Artsakh wars. Over the next 20 years veterans’ families will be in continuous need of support. The number constantly goes up due to the continuous casualties.
Armenian non-profit and non-government organizations are asked to complete a grant application and provide supplemental financial statements and marketing materials.
FASF then conducts phone and in-person interviews. The board then votes on the approval of the grant. FASF also visits the grant recipients’ office in Armenia and requests follow-up reports and financial statements. Access the standard grant application here.

Yes! All donations are tax-deductible. At the end of the year, FASF will provide a letter that includes the total amount you have donated to our organization for your tax records.
If you plan to donate using a credit or debit card or direct bank deduction, you can donate online. You can choose either one-time-only or recurring donations or change your payment method.
You can use credit card or PayPal. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. You can also arrange for automatic donations from checking or savings accounts. And you can choose to pay monthly or make a one-time donation.
If you need to update your current credit or debit card or direct bank deduction information, you can easily do this by signing into your account, scroll to the payment information section and click on edit.
All monthly donors receive an annual statement reflecting the prior year’s total contributions. This statement is usually mailed in February.
